Parks Legado Christmas Tree Market sells trees for the season

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) – If you’ve been to Parks Legado in Odessa in the past two weeks, you may have noticed a lot of Christmas trees for sale.

The Sewell Group and the Permian Band Booster Club have hosted the Christmas Tree Marketplace for 4 years.

It all started as a vision for the Sewell Group in 2018, and it has grown into a success over time thanks to the community and the Permian Band Booster Club.

To date, a representative has confirmed that there are no more Christmas trees.

The event raises funds for the students of the Permian Band Booster Club.

For club member Brooklyn Proffitt, this opportunity helps many students develop customer service skills before entering the workforce.

“It’s really relieving to know that the community really supports what we’re doing and allows us to just go out and enjoy helping students feel more comfortable with, you know, talking to people and selling stuff, so as they grow up and get older where they get more jobs and things that they already have some experience with, and they’re a lot more confident than before, ”said Brooklyn Proffitt, the drummer. Principal Major of the Permian Band.

If you missed the Parks Legado Christmas Tree Market, don’t worry, they will be back next year.
